MTN bursaries are offered to talented candidates who intend pursuing a career in electrical engineering education but also commercial fields of study. MTN bursary opportunities are made available under MTN graduates development arrangement.  MTN is always on the look for deserving applicants and students who can use this opportunity to change their lives

MTN graduates programme helps the company by creating a pool of graduates from which a selection can be made to fill opening vacancies. All students produced by MTN bursary programme join a pool of skilled labour that can be deployed to any part of the company’s operations.

MTN Bursaries Application Requirements

Here are the requirements that you must have in order to apply for these bursaries

  • Have grade 12 certificate
  • You must live in South Africa
  • Have a green South African ID
  • Candidates from previously disadvantaged background will receive preference

We always encourage applicants to take a closer look at the application date so that their applications can reach the company on time. All bursary applications which are coming through to the company after the closing date will not be considered.

Documentation Required

When you return your MTN bursary application it must be accompanied by the following documents

Certified copy of your ID document

Certified Matric certificate

Tertiary academic record (if you are already in a tertiary institution)

Latest results (if you are still in high school)

Proof of enrollment in one of the aforementioned fields of study

Proof of household income (affidavit should be enough)

Your CV

Bursary Motivational letter, detailing why you should be considered for the bursary
