Anglo American Bursary Information
The Anglo American bursary programme is a talent based scheme, thus, only applicants who meet the minimum criteria will be invited to a selection interview. The bursary is a comprehensive package that covers both financial as well as developmental support throughout the study period. All applications are done electronically, this speeds up the process and ensures fairness and electronic tracking of applications received within a particular period.
Preference will be given to candidates with an exceptional academic record who also participate in extracurricular activities. The number of bursaries awarded each year is dependent on the business need. Anglo American is a mining company hence the majority of our bursaries awarded are in the following (but not limited to) fields:

Who Can Apply?
If you have intentions to submit your bursary application, please make sure that you do meet the following requirements:
- You must be a South African citizen
- Have an ID
- You must have completed your matric or currently on matric in 2018
- If you have completed your matric, be able to produce proof that you have been accepted at tertiary institution
When you return your bursary application forms, there may be documentation that the company need in order to process your application. Make sure that you submit certified copies. Do not send your original copies with your application form.
