Sappi Bursary

Sappi bursary opportunities are made available to matriculants and undergraduates who are already enrolled in one of institutions of higher learning in South Africa.

Similar to this is the Department of Water bursary which caters for student who want to pursue a career in engineering studies. Both these require that you enrolled in any university or university of technology that fall within the boarder of South Africa.

Sappi bursary is offered under the following fields of study:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science – Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science – Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor of  Engineering/Bachelor of Science – Chemical Engineering
  • Bachelor of  Engineering/Bachelor of Science – Industrial Engineering
  • Bachelor of  Engineering/Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor of  Engineering/Bachelor of Science – Mechatronics
  • Bachelor of Science – Forestry and Wood sciences
  • National Diploma – Pulp and Paper

Sappi bursary cover the cost of the sudents towards the following:

  • tuition fees,
  • registration fees,
  • books,
  • accommodation and
  • living allowances

Who Must Apply for Sappi Bursary?

In order to apply for this bursary opportunity you must have

  • Matric results: Mathematics 70% (no Maths Literacy), Physical Science 70%, English 60%.
  • University results for current undergraduate students: Average of 70%.
